Entry Acceptance Rules
Number of Bottles Required Per Entry: 2
Each entry will consist of 2 x 330 to 500 ml capped or corked bottles that are completely clear of all identifying information, including labels and embossing. Printed caps are allowed but must be blacked out completely.
500ml brown glass or PET bottles are preferred; however, green and clear glass will be accepted. Swing-top bottles will likewise be accepted, as well as corked bottles. Cans are not accepted at this time due to low numbers of homebrewers using them and the far higher risk of entries being unintentionally unblinded
Bottles will not be returned to contest entrants.
All requisite paperwork must be submitted with each entry and can be printed directly from this website. Please attach the barcode directly to the bottle and cover it with sellotape.
Be meticulous about noting any special ingredients that must be specified. Failure to note such ingredients may impact the judges' scoring of your entry.
Failure to comply with the entry requirements above will see the entry disqualified. We will attempt to still judge the beer and provide feedback but it will be disqualified from winning any awards or progressing to Best of Show rounds.
Entry bottles accepted at our shipping location from Sunday 28 January, 2024 01:00, GMT through Saturday 10 February, 2024 17:00, GMT.

Packing and Shipping
Carefully pack your entries in a sturdy box. Optionally line the inside of your carton with a plastic trash bag. Partition and pack each bottle with adequate packaging material, preferably a recyclable material like cardboard. Please do not over pack as we've hundreds of these parcels to process!
Write clearly: Fragile. This Side Up. on the package. Please do not use bubblewrap, most damaged deliveries we see are due to bubblewrap packed bottles. Cardboard dividers offer better protection.
All entries must come with a label printed from this site, attached to the bottle by covering in clear sellotape.
Every reasonable effort will be made to contact entrants whose bottles have broken to make arrangements for sending replacement bottles.
Judging Sessions and Dates
Best of Show
The awards ceremony will take place once the judging is completed.
Places will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category/table at the judges' discretion.
The 1st place entry in each category will advance to the Best of Show (BOS) round with a single, overall Best of Show beer selected.
Additional prizes may be awarded to those winners present at the awards ceremony at the discretion of the competition organizers.
Awards will be available for pick up that night after the ceremony concludes. Awards not picked up will be mailed to participants. Results will be posted to the competition website after the ceremony concludes.
