Formed in 2010 for brewing enthusiasts to share their experiences, Bristol Craft Brewers now meet at 7:30pm on the second Monday of each month at the Shakespeare Tavern on Prince Street, BS1 4QD. We sample, praise or gently critique each others home brewed beer, and discuss the latest events, ingredients, equipment and techniques, with occasional talks given by members on subjects of interest. Between the club members there is a wealth of experience brewing on all types of setup, and several green-fingered members even grow their own hops for the annual fresh-hop challenge. Other challenges include the Summer Sizzler and Winter Warmer competitions at the appropriate times of year. We also arrange bulk purchases of malt, hops and other brewing sundries, netting attractive discounts, however the main purpose of the club is to have convivial evenings and outings with drinking and discussing interesting beers being our main focus. All are welcome.

Established in 2019, Homebrew Collab is a homebrew club based in Bristol. Our aim is to promote and grow the Home Brewing Community in Bristol and South West England. We do this by holding collaborative brewing challenges 4 or 5 times a year in which we typically brew to a theme, in collaboration with other breweries, clubs or businesses. We have social meetups the last Thursday of the month either in our home at Wiper and True, or in one of Bristol's pubs and breweries where we get together to share and taste brews together.
